About This Policy
Simplaful ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by Show 4 Reel Media Pty Ltd (New South Wales, Australia) and provides a suite of web applications including eTimeSheet (etimesheet.net), Invoicily (invoicily.net), Peepaly (peepaly.com), Billvie (billvie.com), Splitsa (splitsa.com), and WeekInSport (weekinsport.com), collectively referred to as the "Simplaful Platform" or "Services."
This Privacy Policy applies to the simplaful.com website and all Simplaful products. When you create a Simplaful account through any product, this policy governs how your information is handled across the platform.
1. Who We Are

2. Information We Collect
Information you provide to us:
- Account information: name, email address, and password (never stored in plain text)
- Google Sign-In: if you use Google to sign in, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google. We do not receive or store your Google password.
- Business profile: business name, logo, ABN, phone, and address — stored once, optionally shared across Simplaful products you use
- App-specific data: each product collects data relevant to its function (time entries, invoices, people records, bills, etc.). This data stays within its respective product unless you enable cross-app sharing.
- Payment information: we use Stripe to process payments. Stripe collects your card details directly — we never see or store your full card number. We store only your Stripe Customer ID and subscription status.
- Communications: if you contact us, we collect your message and any information you provide.
Information collected automatically:
- Browser type, device type, and operating system
- Usage data — features accessed and actions taken
- Approximate location from your IP address
- Cookies and browser local storage (see Section 8)
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Create and manage your Simplaful account
- Provide and operate the Services you have signed up for
- Process subscription payments and manage access to paid features
- Send transactional emails — confirmation, password resets, payment receipts — branded to the specific product you are using
- Respond to support requests
- Improve existing features and develop new products
- Monitor for security threats and fraud
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.
4. Cross-App Data Sharing Within Simplaful
All Simplaful products share a common platform. The following is shared when you use more than one product:
Shared automatically: your account identity (name, email) and business profile (if set up).
Not shared by default: app-specific data such as time entries, invoices, people records, bills, and event costs. Cross-app data sharing for this type of data will only ever be introduced as an explicit opt-in feature.

We do not use third-party advertising networks. We do not share your data with data brokers.
6. Data Retention
- Active accounts: data retained while your account is active
- Account deletion: personal data and app-specific data deleted within 30 days of account deletion
- Payment records: retained for 7 years for Australian tax record-keeping requirements
- Individual product retention rules are described within each product
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Object to certain types of processing
Australian users: Simplaful handles personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). If we cannot resolve your concern, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

8. Cookies and Local Storage
Essential cookies are required for the Services to function — they keep you logged in and maintain your session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Some Simplaful products use browser local storage for guest mode — if you use a product without an account, your data is stored on your device only. Creating an account migrates this data to secure cloud storage.
9. Children's Privacy
Our Services are for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
10. Security
All data is encrypted in transit using TLS. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Database access is controlled by Row Level Security policies. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe.
11. Changes to This Policy
We will notify you of material changes by email and by updating the date above.
